Mental Health at Work

Mental health supports our quality of life and capacity to thrive at home and work.
Yet mental health problems are on the rise and misconceptions, such as stigma are a barrier to
getting help. In this course, participants will learn about signs and symptoms of common
mental health problems, as well as strategies to support recovery and protect against future
mental health problems.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Explain how good mental health supports personal and career success
  • Identify typical signs associated with mental health problems
  • Describe how stigma impedes recovery
  • Explore strategies to promote mental health and recovery
  • Practice strategies for assisting a colleague experiencing difficulty
